Roger Wheatley is a seasoned independent Certified Computer Network Engineer and web development consultant. For several years he has provided high quality technical training services to corporate and public Network Engineering Students seeking industry certifications. In 2002 Roger launched his own brand company named Hantu Enterprises. His company provides technological based solutions to small and medium sized businesses. The services provided range from Web Design and Web Site Hosting to PC/Network repair, computer training services as well as custom server and PC building – including Linux platforms.
In launching his “brand” company, Roger drew on 25+ years of experience in business management and technical operations. His experience imparts an ability to implement practical and effective solutions for the needs of today’s businesses. In addition to coordinating business operations and participating in web site design projects, Roger also conducts public speaking presentations where he discusses various technology related topics and issues. He has been featured in local computer/technology related newspapers, as well as writing articles for the Internet.
Throughout his career he has always embraced the dynamic, which is reflected in his professionalism and Web Site Design perspective. Among many other things, he has been a General Manager within the corporate side of the restaurant industry, a Technical Support leader, a Network Engineering Instructor and is President of Hantu Enterprises.
He has contributed essays and commentary on a wide range of web site related issues from content development, spam avoidance, online business security, etc. as well as other various informative type articles. Notably his blog Ubuntu Linux Help, which serves as a successful, resource rich site for Open Source and Linux users. He embraces the Open Source movement, as it provides higher quality solutions for business owners, while saving them money.
Roger has traveled extensively, both internationally and domestically. However he currently calls Markham, Ontario home. When he’s not busy on a project, you can find him hiking or kayaking through the incredible landscape Canada offers.
