Syncronization With Dropbox

In the past (when I first started freelancing), one of my challenges was to remain highly organized when working with clients. What do I mean? Some specific, important issues were:

  • Having access to all important files, anywhere, without having to use flash drives, CDs, etc.
  • Making sure all files on different devices were the same.
  • Being able to send people, files they request, without having to attach huge (slow) files to email messages.

I used to have to do this all manually, which was time consuming (and easy to become disorganized).

Some time ago, I bumped into a handy too that does just that (and more): Dropbox!

In their own words, here’s what Dropbox had to say:

I think the best benefit, is the files across all my devices, everywhere… are all in sync!

Automatically sync a folder across computers with Dropbox! Use this link to receive an extra 250MB for free!

I’ve bumped into several people who asked me about easy file sharing, syncing, etc. So I think Dropbox will work nicely for you.

Just one thing…

Please use the link above (in the yellow box), to download and install, because it will give both you and I an extra 250MB of storage space. (And if you share your personalized Dropbox link to others, they will give you an extra 250MB for each person who uses it).

Best of all – It’s free! :)
