Mobile WordPress Helps BFFs UR Clients

For all of you whom I’ve installed WordPress based sites, I’ve noticed a large increase of mobile traffic to network servers. This is a good trend, as it indicates most of us are  keeping current with consumer and visitor trends (analysts have indicated, in various technical posts, that mobile browsing will surpass desktop browsing within a couple of years; for our market).

Some of us have already ensured mobile and desktop enable WordPress sites, and several of you have asked me to expedite this, which is a prudent move, as viewing desktop sites on a mobile device, does little to improve business growth – As it does throw a wrench into marketing and branding campaigns.

Given the current trends in websites, video, ecommerce (mcommerce)… Well… the Web in general, it’s very much apparent that mobile is where (in want of better grammar) “it’s going”. Mobile and Social Media integration is everywhere! And for many of us as business owners, it’s understandable to remain competitive and ride with the wave, not trail behind.

But… I digress, that’s not the intended subject for this email, instead, I’d like to give you all a heads up, your sites can be edited directly from your mobile devices!

The above mobile app is free to Android users, so you’ll be able to edit, add, publish, moderate, etc. your site from wherever you are.  (Can anyone please confirm, and let me know if the iOS app is also free?)

I’ve been personally testing this for the last couple months, and it’s a beneficial business tool. I can add, remove or change content and communicate with site visitors, on-the-fly in real time! One of the other most beneficial features, we can do this, literally, from anywhere, anytime!

Android users can obtain the free application here:

For those of you (clients) who are not familiar with the settings needed in your site’s admin area, please let me know and I’ll just configure the setting for you, and let you know when you can connect.
